Certified Residential Specialist
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. Less than 4% of Realtors nationwide hold this credential and I carry it because I truly value how continuing education and shared knowledge enhance my real world experiences in meeting my clients' needs and wants. Today, home buying and selling is more complex and more competitive in every way. The goal is to make the process a little easier for you.
Experience: To earn the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, every REALTOR® must have significant experience and volume of real estate transactions.
Ethics: Every CRS Designee is required to maintain membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and to abide by its strict Code of Ethics.
A Focus on Home Buying and Selling: To help make the home buying and selling process more rewarding, every CRS Designee must have a proven track record in the business, as well as advanced education in related areas like finance, technology and marketing.
Technology Expertise: The training available to CRS Designees includes a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real estate business.
Seniors Real Estate Specialist
One of the available specialty credentials I sought early on in my real estate career was that of Seniors Real Estate Specialist because I enjoy spending time with older adults and because I know that big moves, like buying or selling a home, can be especially difficult for them. Selling a family home can be particularly complicated if the owners have been in the home for many years and family members that might be called on for assistance are out of the area.
Credentials aside, I think the most important thing to know about me is that I have the high-tech savvy required to conduct business with family members locally and remotely while, more importantly, I have the patience and willingness to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee with our elders in order to ease them through a difficult real estate transaction.
